We use these swabs AFTER the insulin injection.Please do not use them beforehand.The syringe is very fine.Bacteria could more likely enter the injection site than benefit from the swab.However, if something does happen, the bacteria can be neutralized afterward.Otherwise, you should wait 5 minutes.
