For at least 15 years, I haven't used aftershave or anything similar after shaving, but rather Dr. Storz's Aloe Vera Gel.A colleague recommended it to me because I used to get small inflammations and pimples.Since then, I haven't had any skin irritations, my skin is well-nourished, and there's no redness after shaving.I've tried other gels in the meantime that were cheaper, but Dr. Storz's gel is worth the money.Other gels, for example, have a strange chemical smell or are too creamy.This one has proven to be reliably consistent in quality over the years.And for other skin problems (especially sunburn, but also nettle stings or dry skin in winter), the gel is my go-to remedy.Along with tea tree oil (for inflammation, athlete's foot (it clears up within hours!), and wound disinfection) and Ayurvedic herbal balm (for mosquito bites, bruises, etc.), it's one of the three essential items in my home and travel medicine kit.
