Field of use

The vegetable medicine Aqualibra® was specially developed for the treatment of bacterial and inflammatory urinary tract infections.

With its unique combination of three high-quality plant extracts, Aqualibra® covers a particularly wide range of effects, which is precisely aligned with the treatment goals in the case of bladder inflammation or cystitis: inhibit inflammation, combat pathogens, relieve symptoms.

Aqualibra® is suitable for acute and recurring uncomplicated urinary tract infections and can also be supported for antibiotic therapy. Last but not least, Aqualibra® scores with its very good tolerance. The application is therefore also possible over a longer period of time.

Mode of action

Three high-quality plant extracts
Aqualibra® contains a unique combination of three high-quality plant extracts that complement each other in a sensible effect. It is precisely this synergistic interaction of the vegetable ingredients that is the basis for the wide range of effects of Aqualibra®.
Goldenrod
Antibacterial, anti -inflammatory, immunosimizing and diuretic effect.

Hauhechel
Haves diuretic and pain -relieving.

Orthosiphon (cat beard)
Has an antispasmodic, diuretic and antifungal (combats dismantling mushrooms); Also particularly noteworthy is the anti -adhesive effect of orthosiphon: "cat beard" prevents the adhesion and the penetration of bacteria into the bladder mucosa. In this way, the pathogens can be combated thoroughly and rinsed out: in addition to the effective treatment of acute bladder inflammation, the risk of recurring bladder inflammation is also reduced.

This confirms several clinical studies on the effectiveness and also tolerability of the vegetable drug Aqualibra® in the treatment of inflammatory urinary tract infections. Thanks to Aqualibra®, 4 out of 5 patients could even avoid an antibiotic (Vahlensieck et al. The active ingredients are: 80 mg of dry extract from Hauhechel root (5-8: 1), moving out: water 90 mg dry extract from orthosiphone leaves (5-7: 1), moving out: water 180 mg dry extract made of goldenrod herb (4-7: 1), extractors: water

The other components are: Povidon K 30, crospovidon, high -disperse silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, talcum, macrogol 3000, Poly (vinyl alcohol), lactose monohydrate, spray-dried glucose syrup (Ph. EUR.), Maltodextrin, Titandioxide, Chlorophyll-Cup Complex

Contradictions

• When are you not allowed to use the medicine?
  • In the following it is described when you can only use the medicine under certain conditions and only with special caution. Please ask your doctor. This also applies if this information has been on your own.
  • The preparation must not be applied in the case of known hypersensitivity to Hauhechel root, orthosiphone leaves, golden rod herb or one of the other components of the drug.
  • No rinsing treatment for water accumulation in the tissue (edema) as a result of limited heart or kidney activity.

dosage

Dosage and intake of Aqualibra 80mg/90mg/180mg (pack size: 60 pc):

Always take this medicine exactly after consultation with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Adults and adolescents from the age of 12 take up 2 Aqualibra® film -coated tablets with plenty of liquid every day.
The film -coated tablets are swallowed.
The intake can take place at meals or regardless of this.

Important: Throughout the entire treatment period, a plenty of fluid intake (at least 2 liters/day) must be ensured. In this way, the diuretic and pathogen flushing effect can be supported.

In order to rinse all pathogens if possible, Aqualibra® should be taken for a few days even after the acute symptoms have subsided. This thorough aftercare can reduce the risk of returning an infection.
The duration of the application depends on the type, severity and course of the disease and must be determined by the doctor.

Taking

• The film -coated tablets are swallowed. The intake can take place at meals or regardless of this. In any case, the drug with plenty of liquid must be taken.
• Also pay attention to plenty of fluid intake (at least two liters/day) during the entire duration of treatment.

  • What precautions should be taken?
    • There is no sufficient examinations to use the preparation in children. The drug should therefore not be used in children under the age of 12.

 

• What do you have to consider in road traffic and working with machines and when working without a safe hold?
  • The drug has no influence on these activities.

Pregnancy

• What do you have to consider during pregnancy and lactation?
  • The preparation should not be used due to insufficient examinations in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
