Avène Cleanance cleansing gel

✔ Removes excess sebum, inhibits sebum overproduction and has an anti-inflammatory effect The Cleanance cleansing gel is a soap-free face and body cleanser for oily skin to moderate impurities and acne.

Indication:
During puberty, skin blemishes usually occur, and in many cases pimples and acne-like conditions with inflammation and scarring. It is true that mostly young people are affected by acne, but women and men over the age of 25 are also increasingly suffering from it. Skin blemishes are caused by excessive sebum production (hyperseborrhoea), which is predominantly caused by hormones and is reflected in greasy, shiny skin. Due to a keratinization disorder of the sebum follicles (follicular hyperkeratosis), the sebum can no longer drain off, which is why microcomedones form under the skin. Depending on their condition, these appear whitish or black (“blackheads”). Increased colonization with the bacterium C. acnes can ultimately lead to inflammatory processes and the development of papules and pustules, which often only heal with scarring. Since blemished skin tends to be particularly sensitive, it needs gentle products that also effectively remove blemishes.

Active ingredients and mode of action of the product:
The Cleanance cleaning gel has a triple effect: Monolaurin inhibits sebum production. Zinc gluconate has a sebum-regulating and anti-inflammatory effect. Avène thermal water has a skin-soothing, irritation-relieving and anti-inflammatory effect. It frees the skin from clogged pores, works against pimples & blackheads and oily skin.

Application:
Apply mornings and evenings to damp face and lather briefly. Then rinse off thoroughly and dry the skin gently without rubbing firmly.
