In summer it's the allergy, in winter it's the runny nose - if our nose runs, we increasingly reach for a handkerchief or, for a stuffy nose, for decongestant nasal sprays. However, this has the consequence that the nasal mucosa gradually dries out and becomes irritated. It feels dry, burns or itches, and occasionally forms crusts.

But not only the inner workings of the nose can suffer from allergies or colds. Constant, vigorous blowing of the nose damages the nostrils, for example: they react sensitively, redden and can hurt.

For everyone who suffers from a sore nose or dry, cracked nasal mucosa: The Bepanthen^® eye and nose ointment supports healing, moisturizes, soothes and cares - the nose can regenerate sustainably.

In the eye, the Bepanthen^® eye and nose ointment unfolds its healing-promoting effect on minor injuries to the conjunctiva and cornea.

The Bepanthen^® eye and nose ointment has the following advantages:

• supports the natural healing process

The application is simple and practical: Use the cannula to apply a strand of ointment about one centimeter long to the conjunctival sac of the eye (between the eyeball and lower lid) or to the nasal mucosa - several times a day, unless otherwise prescribed. Since the ointment is sterile and manufactured without preservatives, it must not be used on the eye for longer than a week. The ointment can be used on the nose for up to four weeks.

Less ointment should be used for infants and children. Please also note: Tubes of Bepanthen^® eye and nose ointment that have been used once in the nose must not be used on the eyes afterwards.

If you wear contact lenses and want to use Bepanthen^® Ointment on your eyes, please remove your contact lenses before use. On the one hand, contact with the ointment can smear the contact lenses, on the other hand, incompatibilities with the lens material cannot be ruled out. You can find further information on the application in the package leaflet.

You should consult a doctor if your condition worsens or if your eyes do not improve after four days or your nose after a week.
