With the Bepanthen® scar gel, scars up to two years old can be maintained. The regular use enables pale, flatter and softer scars - itching and pain can also be alleviated. The Bepanthen® scar angels maintain scars with the triple effect: It contains silicone that acts as a protective film, the moisturizing ingredient Dexpanthenol and an integrated massage scooter for an improved scar structure.

Bepanthen® scar gel for the treatment of fresh scars. After an operation or due to another deeper cutting injury, in which the wound extends to the second layer of skin, the dermis, a scar can hardly be avoided. With the help of replacement fabrics, which consists of collagen fibers (a protein of the skin), new tissue forms. However, this differs in the structure and appearance of "normal" skin: there is a scar that is usually red, hairless and sometimes sublime or bulging.

The restructuring process to form the new skin can take up to two years. During this time, those affected often feel symptoms such as

• After wound closure: Apply the silicone to the scar twice a day with your finger so that a thin film is created. Then let the gel dry for a few minutes (for example before dressing).
• At the earliest one month after wound closure: first roll, then cream! Use the scar gel twice a day by gently massaging the scar tissue with the integrated massage roller for a few minutes. Then apply a thin gel film and let it dry completely.

Please note: The gel may only be used if the wound has completely closed. The massage scooter should be used at the earliest one month after wound closurecome; Before that, the tissue is still too sensitive. The Bepanthen® scar gel must not be used near the eyes.

Information on cleaning: You can rub the massage scooter with a damp or dry cloth; Do not clean under running water.
