Be it a small cut with the knife or a superficial wound after a fall: minor injuries such as cuts, scratches or grazes occur again and again in everyday life. As a rule, these are not bad - the skin itself now starts with work and takes care of the wound. 1. In the inflammatory phase, also referred to as a cleaning phase, any bleeding is breastfed. Once this has been done, the blood vessels widen - the wound reddates and warms up. This phase primarily serves to defend disease germs to avoid infection. Our tip: The Bepanthen^® Antiseptic wound cream is suitable for initial care of superficial wounds - it protects against infections and has a pleasantly cooling effect.

2. The so -called repair phase starts a few days after the inflammation phase. The aim is to rebuild the damaged tissue and vessels. To support the process, it is advisable to use the Bepanthen^® wound and healing ointment.

3. In the last step (reconstruction phase) there is a complete closure of the wound. In the case of superficial injuries, such as cuts or grazes, the healing usually runs without scarring. If there is still a scar, it supports the Bepanthen^® scar gel. With timely scar treatment (after closure of the wound), it is possible to improve the later scarred image.

So step by step, the skin works independently to restore itself. Nevertheless: You can support the healing process positively. After the first wound care, i.e. after cleaning with water and the disinfection of the wound, you should use the Bepanthen^® wound and healing ointment.

The ointment is ideally suited for small wounds, but also with scaly-cracked skin, as it often arises in winter. It helps the skin to heal itself by

• Promotes the natural wound healing using the active ingredient dexpanthenol contained,
• stimulates the new formation of skin cells and thus ensures faster wound closure,
• Preserves the skin from drying out by placing a breathable protective film over the affected area.

The Bepanthen^® wound and healing ointment is characterizedalso from good tolerance and is therefore also suitable for sensitive skin. It does not contain any color, fragrance and preservatives.

You can find information on how to apply the Bepanthen^® wound and healing ointment in the package insert. The duration of the Bepanthen^® wound and healing ointment is based on the type and course of wound healing, but can take place until the symptoms are subsided.

Please note that the ointment should not be used after the expiry date has expired; This refers to the last day of the month. After the tube, the Bepanthen^® wound and healing ointment can still be kept for three months.

There are no restrictions on application for pregnant women and breastfeeding.

There's absolutely nothing to criticize about this ointment!Pleasant scent, good consistency, excellent tolerability.It helps in all cases: scratches and grazes, chapped skin on lips, hands and feet, rough patches on elbows, for example, scar care after injuries, even worth a try for neurodermatitis (it helps my wife), and much more. Very good!

The original is simply the original.In my opinion, nothing beats Bepanthen wound and healing ointment.I've been using it since childhood and it's been a staple in my medicine cabinet for ages.I find it pleasant to apply, it has a nice scent, and it heals quickly and effectively on minor, superficial scratches and wounds.I even use it myself sometimes in winter on dry patches on my elbows and have never been disappointed.
