Field of use

• The preparation is a germicidal agent (antiseptic) for application to skin and wounds.
• The ointment is repeatedly used in time for antiseptic wound treatment for damaged skin, (e.g. pressure ulcers, lower leg ulcers), superficial wounds, burns, infected and super infected skin diseases.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be used,
  • if you are allergic to Povidon iodine or one of the other components of this medicine,
  • if you have a thyroid overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism) or another existing (manifest) thyroid disease,
  • if you have the very rare chronic dermatitis dermatitis herpetiformis duhring,

dosage

• The recommended dose is (unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor):
  • Apply the ointment to the damaged area evenly one to several times a day. If necessary, a bandage can then be created.
  • The brown color of the ointment is a property of the preparation and shows its effectiveness. An increasing decolorization indicates the effectiveness of the preparation. • Duration of the application
