Field of use

• The medicine is a vitamin preparation.
  • To prevent and treat an biotin deficiency (less than 0.2 mg biotin is sufficient for prevention) during the day)
  • For the treatment of a biotin deficiency in the very rare biotin-dependent, multiple carboxylas deficiency.

Contradictions

• DSA medicine must not be taken,

dosage

• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:

  • Less than 0.2 mg biotin per day is sufficient for prophylaxis.

    • 1 tablet once a day (corresponding to 10 mg biotin).
  • Preparations with a lower active ingredient content are available for lower doses.

 

• Duration of the application:

• If you have taken a larger amount of the drug than you should:
  • Poisoning and overdose symptoms are not known.
