Bronchoforton ointment for colds & cough (pack size: 40 g) is a vegetable medicine for inhalation and external use to improve the symptoms in the case of colds of the airways with viscous mucus.

Contradictions

In the case of known hypersensitivity to one of the above -mentioned ingredients, this product should not be used.
This product is not suitable for children under 4 years.
This ointment must not get into the eyes and not be applied to the face or on the mucous membranes.
During breastfeeding and in children with cramps, this preparation must not be used.

Recommendation of application of Bronchoforton ointment for colds & cough (pack size: 40 g):

You can use Broncho forton ointment for colds & Cough (pack size: 40 g) to the chest or back. To do this, as an adult, you apply a 3-5 cm long ointment strand 2 to 4 times a day.
Children from 4 - 6 years are to rub a 1-2 cm long ointment strand 2 to 4 times a day.
Children from 6 - 12 years are to rub a 1-3 cm long ointment strand 2 to 4 times a day.


For inhaling with Bronchoforton ointment for colds & cough (pack size: 40 g) Use a 3-5 cm long ointment strand in hot, non-boiling water. If the inhalation is perceived as too hot or triggers a cough, some cold water should be added. The inhalation should be repeated 2 to 4 times a day. Children from 6 years of age can also inhale, with them a 1-3 cm long ointment strand of Bronchoforton ointment for colds & cough (pack size: 40 g).

You can also carry out a relaxing bathroom with bronchoforton ointment for colds & cough (pack size: 40 g) . Simply add a larger amount of bronchofort ointment for colds & cough (pack size: 40 g) in the bathing water. If you are a fever or increased temperateur, you should refrain from a bath. This could burden the circulation.

Taking

• Application on the skin (rubbed):
  • Rub the chest and back
• Inhalation with water vapor:
  • Pour on the ointment strand with 0.6 liters of hot water and inhale the rising vapors through the mouth and nose for about 10 minutes (caution, the vapors are hot at first!).
  • Do not inhale children without supervision! Caution when dealing with hot water!
  • When inhalation with an inhalator, please note the operating instructions!

• Warnings and Precautions
  • In the event of complaints that last longer than a week, with deterioration or when the breath appears, fever as well as in the case of bloody or purulent expectoration should be consulted.
  • This ointment must not be used/rubbed on the face.
  • When using this preparation, the contact of the medicine must be avoided with the eyes, otherwise it can lead to irritation of the eyes.
  • The ointment should not be used in the area of mucous membranes or irritated skin.
  • After use, the hands are to be cleaned thoroughly.
  • Children
    • The application is not recommended for children from 30 months to 4 years, since there are only insufficient experiences.
    • For general security reasons, only children from 6 years and adults should use this preparation as steam inhalation. Do not inhale children without supervision!
    • In rare cases, the inhalation of concentrated vapories leads to breathing arrest in infants and toddlers, presumably as a result of cramps of the vocal creep.
    • It should be ensured that children with their hands cannot get in touch with the grated skin areas.

  • The effects on the power and the ability to use machines have not been examined.

Pregnancy

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this drug.
