CONTRAKEL cream
Scar Care Cream — Medical Device

Cream for the care of hypertrophic and atrophic scars and keloids.

Any deeper skin injury results in a scar which is not only unattractive but also often causes itching or, if extensive and around joints, can be uncomfortable and often painful. Gele or creams alone cannot reduce or make scars disappear. New findings show that massage in combination with scar cream or scar gel plays an important role in scar reduction plays. However, a massage is only tolerated if a cream is applied beforehand to make the scar tissue supple.

Contrakel Scar Cream addresses scar reduction on three levels, while typical Gele only work on one level, which is the preservation of moisture in scar tissue.

Level 1: Massage — prevents scar tissue formation
• Contrakel Cream is very easy to apply to the scar tissue, which is a prerequisite for an effective massage
• Contrakel is enriched with cholesterol and olive oil, which softens the scar tissue, allowing for a gentle massage without pulling on the tissue

Level 2: Film effect — increases moisture content
• Contrakel forms a dense film that maintains the physiological hydration (moisture) of the skin tissue

Level 3: skin renewal
• Allantoin stimulates the renewal of the skin and reduces the typical itching that is often associated with scarring
• Urea (urea) supports the skin's moisture content
• Vitamin A supports the function of skin cells and prevents excessive callus formation (keratinization)

CONTRAKEL cream
• does not tighten the skin and is therefore also suitable for burn scars
• does not dry out the skin and leaves no residue
• Allows an intensive massage of the scar tissue: After application, the scar should be massaged in for 10 minutes.

Thanks to its triple effect, Contrakel is suitable for both fresh and old scars

Application:
Apply the Cream Contrakel to the skin and massage in gently for a few minutes. Repeat twice a day. Depending on the size and condition of the scar, the product may last for a long time be applied. Also suitable for sensitive skin. Do not use on open wounds, but only after complete healing.
