Field of use

• The preparation is a scar specific to use after wound closure.
• The drug has a growth -inhibiting (anti -proliferative), anti -inflammatory (anti -inflammatory), loosening and smoothing on the scar tissue.
• The preparation is used in patients with moving -restricted, enlarged (hypertrophic), wulstig (keloid -shaped) and visually disturbing scars after operations, amputations, burns and accidents; In the case of joint stiff (contractures) z. B. the finger (Dupuytren contracture) and (traumatic) tendon contractures created by injury as well as scar shrinkings (atrophic scars).

Fresh and older scars can also treat with a scar roller. Grar rollers support the healing and fading of the scar.

Contradictions

• The drug must not be used if you
  • are hypersensitive (allergic) against extra cepae, heparin sodium or allantoin or one of the other components of the preparation.

dosage

• Always apply the preparation exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, massage the gel slightly into the scar tissue several times a day. In the case of hardened old scars, you may be able to leave the medicine under an association overnight.
• Depending on the extent and strength of the scar, treatment extends over several weeks to months.
• Especially in the treatment of fresh scars, you should avoid physical stimuli, such as extreme cold or UV light or too strong.

Miscellaneous

- A itching occasionally observed during treatment with the medicine is an expression of the tissue redesign of the scar. A demolition of the treatment for this reason is usually not necessary.
