Instructions for Use

How to use?

Mechanism of action

How does the active ingredient in the medicine work?

The active ingredient helps with allergies and relieves itching. It suppresses the effects of the body's own substance, histamine, in two ways: First, it inhibits the release of histamine from the mast cells (special immune cells) in the blood and tissues; second, it displaces histamine from its binding sites. As a tissue hormone and type of messenger substance, histamine plays an important role in the development of inflammation and allergic reactions.

Desloratadine DoppelherzPharma 5 mg film-coated tablets

Active ingredient: Desloratadine.

Composition: Each film-coated tablet contains 5 mg desloratadine.

Indications:
For the relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal passages caused by an allergy, for example, hay fever or house dust mite allergy) in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older. These symptoms include sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, itching of the palate, and itchy, red, or watery eyes. Also used to relieve the symptoms of urticaria (an allergic skin condition). These symptoms include itching and hives.
