The active ingredient belongs to a group of substances that are effective against pain and inflammation and can lower fever.All three effects are primarily based on the inhibition of a substance produced by the body, called prostaglandin.This substance must be present as a messenger substance in order for pain to be felt, inflammatory reactions to be initiated, or body temperature to be raised.

- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients
- Ulcers in the digestive tract, including recurrent ulcers
- Bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract, including recurrent bleeding
- Active bleeding, such as:
- Cerebral hemorrhage
- Crohn's disease
- Ulcerative colitis
- Severe heart failure
- Severely impaired kidney function
- Severely impaired liver function

Which age group should be considered?
- Children and adolescents under 18 years of age: This medication must not be used.
- Elderly patients: Treatment should be carefully coordinated with your doctor and closely monitored, e.g., through frequent check-ups.The desired effects and unwanted side effects of the medication may be increased or decreased in this group.

- Ulcers in the digestive tract, which can very rarely also perforate
- Gastrointestinal bleeding
- Gastritis (inflammation of the stomach lining)
- Mouth ulcer
- Black, tarry stools
- Hives
- Itching

What should you consider?
- Your reaction time may be impaired even when used as directed, especially at higher doses or in combination with alcohol.Pay particular attention to this if you are participating in road traffic or operating machinery (including household appliances) with which you could injure yourself.
- With prolonged use of painkillers, headaches may occur that are caused by the painkiller itself.Talk to your doctor to prevent your headaches from becoming chronic.
- The habitual use of painkillers can lead to permanent kidney damage.The risk increases if several painkillers are combined, or if a painkiller contains several active ingredients.
- Caution: Patients with nasal polyps, chronic respiratory infections, asthma, or a tendency to allergic reactions such as hay fever: This medication may trigger an asthma attack or a severe allergic skin reaction in you.Therefore, consult your doctor before use.
- Caution if you are allergic to painkillers!
