Sore throat - origin & Symptoms

While adults are affected by cold infections about two to three times a year, it catches children up to 13 times a year. Speaking, sneezing, cough - all of this can lead to cold viruses being transmitted by droplet infection. Symptoms such as cough, fatigue and severe sore throat are not uncommon. For children and adolescents

In children and adolescents, not all rache therapy drugs can be used safely. This does not apply to DoloDobendan^®: The active ingredients contained Cetylpyridinium chloride (CPC) and benzocaine are considered to be very well tolerated- therefore taking the strepsils for children from six years harmless. Alternatively, this age group Dobensana^® Junior Halfstabicks are available: These can be done completely without sugar and artificial dyes.

Application recommendation
Adults and adolescents from the age of 12 take 1 doloDobendan^® sucking tablet every 2 hours as required against sore throat and slowly let them melt in the mouth. The daily dose should not exceed 8 doloDobendan^® sucking tablets. Children between the ages of 6 and 12 take 1 sucking tablet every 4 hours as required. The maximum dose in this age group is 4 lollipops a day. In the event of complaints that last for more than 2 days or go hand in touch with a high fever, please contact your doctor.

When exactly do doloDobendan^® sucking tablets?
DoloDobendan^® is particularly suitable for severe sore throat and difficulty swallowing. These can quickly be relieved temporarily by taking it. Areas of application are, for example, inflammation of the oral and throat mucosa (stomatitis, pharyngitis) or gums (gingivitis).

What can I do to alleviate my sore throat in a natural way?
With acute sore throat, sufficient calm and little physical exertion are important so that the immune system can regenerate. Drink enough water or tea (two liters/day) to wash out the pathogens. Sage tea is particularly suitable because it has a irritable and anti -inflammatory effect. Hot milk with honey can also have a soothing effect. Also keep your neck warm, e.g. by neck wrap or a scarf.

Do I have to go to the doctor with a sore throat?
Sore throat can have many different reasons and do not have to be a symptom of a serious illness. You should see a doctor if your symptoms go hand in hand, despite the application of a medication, do not get better or even deteriorate within 2-3 days.

After my last favorite brand was no longer available for prescription, I took this one. You have to overcome the taste first. I don't think sorbitol and sugar are absolutely necessary. But the most important thing is that they work quickly for a sore throat. I might try the other flavor next time.
