Without medical advice, adults should not use this medicine for more than 3 days for fever or more than 4 days for pain.Children and adolescents should not use this medicine for more than 3 days without medical advice.If symptoms worsen, medical advice should generally be sought.
Overdose?
An overdose may cause, among other things, headaches, dizziness, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, a drop in blood pressure, drowsiness, and respiratory problems.If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.
Missed a dose?
Continue taking the medicine as usual at the next scheduled time (i.e., do not take a double dose).
General rule: Pay particular attention to careful dosing, especially in infants, young children, and the elderly.If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautions.

Mechanism of action
How does the active ingredient of the medicine work?The active ingredient belongs to a group of substances that act against pain and inflammation and can reduce fever.All three effects are primarily based on the inhibition of a substance produced by the body, called prostaglandin.This substance must be present as a messenger substance so that pain can be felt, inflammatory reactions can be initiated, or body temperature can be raised.

Contraindications
What are the contraindications for use?Always:
- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients
- Blood disorders
- Ulcers in the digestive tract, including a history of such ulcers
- Bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract, including a history of such bleeding
- Gastrointestinal perforation, in the past in connection with the use of certain medications (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs/antiphlogistics)
- Active bleeding, such as:
- Cerebral hemorrhage
- Severely impaired liver function
- Severely impaired kidney function
- Severe heart failure
- Severe dehydration
Under certain circumstances - please talk to your doctor or pharmacist:
- Gastrointestinal complaints
- Inflammatory bowel diseases, including a history of such diseases, such as:
- Crohn's disease
- Ulcerative colitis
- Blood clotting disorder
- High blood pressure
- Coronary heart disease (circulatory disorders of the heart muscle)
- Possible risk of narrowing of the blood vessels in the heart, such as with:
- Elevated fat concentration in the blood
- Diabetes mellitus (diabetes)
- Smoking
- Circulatory disorders of the extremities (e.g., arms, legs)
- Circulatory disorder of the cerebral blood vessels
- Collagen diseases(Changes in the connective tissue area), such as:
- Lupus erythematosus
- Mixed connective tissue disease (inflammatory rheumatic collagen disease)
- Porphyria (metabolic disease)
- Major surgery that has recently taken place
- Chickenpox
Which age group should be considered?
- Children under 6 years of age: This medication should generally not be used in this age group.There are preparations that are better suited in terms of active ingredient strength and/or dosage form.
- Children under 20 kg body weight: This medication should generally not be used in this group.
- Elderly patients aged 65 and over: Treatment should be carefully coordinated with your doctor and closely monitored, e.g., through frequent check-ups.The desired effects and unwanted side effects of the medication may be increased or decreased in this group.

Side effects

- With prolonged use of painkillers, headaches may occur that are caused by the painkiller itself.Talk to your doctor to prevent your headaches from becoming chronic.
- The habitual use of painkillers can lead to permanent kidney damage.The risk increases if several painkillers are combined or if a painkiller contains several active ingredients.
- Caution: Patients with nasal polyps, chronic respiratory infections, asthma, or a tendency to allergic reactions such as hay fever: This medication may trigger an asthma attack or a severe allergic skin reaction.Therefore, consult your doctor before use.

What active ingredient is contained in Dolormin® pain tablets?
Dolormin®pain tablets contain 200 mg of the active ingredient ibuprofen.Ibuprofen belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and can help relieve pain, fever, and inflammation.In combination with the body's own building block lysine, ibuprofen is more soluble in the stomach and can thus be absorbed quickly by the body, providing rapid pain relief. Dolormin ®pain tablets contain 200 mg of the active ingredient ibuprofen.

How to use Dolormin® pain relief tablets
Swallow Dolormin® pain relief tablets whole with plenty of liquid.If you have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take Dolormin® pain relief tablets with a meal. Unless otherwise directed by your doctor or pharmacist, please follow the dosage instructions below.
20–29 kg (children between 6 and 9 years)
Single dose: 200 mg ibuprofen (1 film-coated tablet)
Maximum daily dose: 600 mg ibuprofen (3 film-coated tablets)
30–39 kg (children between 10 and 11 years)
Single dose: 200 mg ibuprofen (1 film-coated tablet)
Maximum daily dose: 800 mg ibuprofen (4 film-coated tablets)
more than 40 kg (adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over)
Single dose: 200–400 mg ibuprofen (1–2 film-coated tablets)
Maximum daily dose:1200 mg Ibuprofen (6 film-coated tablets)
The dosing interval depends on the symptoms.If necessary, another single dose can be taken after 6 hours.Do not exceed the total daily dose for the specific age group. Dolormin® pain tablets should not be taken for longer than 3 days in children and adolescents, and for no longer than 3 days in adults for fever and no longer than 4 days for pain.
