Thanks to a new manufacturing technology, Doppelherz system OMEGA-3 family Strawberry-Citrus Gel-Tabs offer a high content of the valuable omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA combined with vitamin D in the form of fruity-tasting gel-tabs. This dosage form is suitable for children, teenagers, and adults—in other words, for the whole family.

The gel tabs are soft, chewable tablets with a delicious strawberry-citrus flavor. They contain omega-3 fatty acids from highly purified marine fish oils and vitamin D. Omega-3 fatty acids are an important component of a healthy diet. Nevertheless, the supply of these long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids is not optimal for everyone. This also applies to children and adolescents. Insufficient intake of omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA can be promoted, for example, by a diet low in fish. Important representatives of the omega-3 fatty acids are eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), which cannot be produced in the body without precursors. However, only a few foods contain these valuable fatty acids. Good sources are fatty cold-water fish such as mackerel, herring, or sardines. However, not everyone wants to eat fish several times a week.
