DUCRAY KERTYOL P.S.O. Concentrate is the ideal supportive care for plaque psoriasis and inflamed, reddened skin conditions. The concentrate provides the skin with soothing moisture, reduces plaque thickness, has an anti-inflammatory effect and also slows down increased cell proliferation.

Indication:
Supportive care for plaque psoriasis with inflamed, reddened skin for the scalp and individual parts of the body (knees, elbows ...). For local application, the KERTYOL P.S.O. Concentrate can be used as a supplement to psoriasis therapy or after drug treatment.

The KERTYOL P.S.O. Concentrate slows down the increased cell proliferation. The keratinization disorders are compensated and the formation of dandruff is regulated. The moisturizing concentrate has an anti-inflammatory effect, reduces plaque thickness, redness and itching. The special formula leaves no stains or adhesions on clothing.

Active ingredients and mode of action of the product:
The innovative main active ingredient Celastrol, biotechnologically produced by the Pierre Fabre company, is an active ingredient of 100% natural origin and obtained from plant cell cultures. The ingredient unfolds its calming effect. By directly influencing the horn-forming cells, the formation of plaque is reduced and the skin's appearance improved. The included VEDERINE® stimulates cell differentiation so that the plaques can be detached from the skin more easily. Ichtyol has an anti-inflammatory effect, slows down the formation of new cells and thus reduces the formation of new scaly plaques. Normal duration of the skin renewal process: 21-28 days, while for skin prone to psoriasis it is 3-5 days. The horn-dissolving active ingredient glycolic acid causes visible plaque to disappear. Polidocanol relieves the itching.

Application:
Anwendung

The care concentrate for local application during the attack phase 1 to 2 times a day on the affected part of the body (face and body), applied over 4 weeks. In the case of severe itching, it can be applied to the scalp once a day in the evening, left on overnight and rinsed out the next day. In the maintenance phase, the care concentrate is used twice a week.
