I've known Emser lozenges since childhood and I'm glad they offer a menthol-free alternative to many other throat lozenges, as I can't stand the taste of mint and it makes me nauseous.They're also easier to tolerate than many sugar-free lozenges, and I personally find them much more effective, especially for hoarseness and dry mucous membranes.However, for inflammation, I tend to use numbing tablets.
