Protection & Care for severely stressed skin – Supports skin regeneration

Eucerin Aquaphor Repair Ointment is a special care product for extremely dry, chapped, and irritated skin and supports faster skin regeneration.

Thanks to Aquaphor, the development of a physiological skin regeneration environment is promoted. This acts as a kind of protective shield to improve the skin's natural barrier function. This is achieved through the water vapor-permeable (semi-occlusive) formula, which forms a protective film on the skin and prevents potential moisture buildup. Furthermore, the Repair Ointment, with its active ingredients panthenol and bisabolol, has a soothing effect on irritated skin.

Scientific studies have proven the effectiveness and skin compatibility of the ointment in conjunction with dermatological treatments. It is recommended for skin care for xerosis and for stressed, dry skin, e.g., caused by frequent hand washing at work, but also for irritated and reddened skin caused, for example, by strenuous exercise. Eucerin Aquaphor Care Cream is also gentle on sensitive baby skin and can be used as a baby cream, for example, as a diaper cream or in cold weather, for "slugging" (a mask to seal in nighttime skincare products), or as a moisturizing treatment for tattoos*.

Because the ointment contains only 7 selected ingredients, it has a low irritation potential and is therefore very well tolerated.

I'm very happy with Aquaphor Protect.My problem area is my heels, which are very cracked and dry.Applying Aquaphor once in the morning and once in the evening has made a noticeable difference!The cream is easy to rub in, fragrance-free, and long-lasting.Hopefully, I'll finally be able to wear sandals again in the spring !

Eucerin Aquaphor: I've known about Aquaphor for a while now thanks to the skincare TikTok hype, as it's supposed to be great for sealing in previous skincare products and protecting the skin.That's how I used it.Since it has a consistency similar to Vaseline, I only used it in the evening to seal in my hyaluronic serum.A pea-sized amount is really all you need for your face.The very next morning, my skin felt much more nourished and plump.After shaving and exfoliating, I used Aquaphor to seal in the excess oil: Once a month, I shave my face to remove dead skin cells and blackheads.This is, of course, a huge strain on the skin.Afterward, I apply hyaluronic serum three times a day and a cream for sensitive skin.This time, I also used Aquaphor to seal in the excess oil.Immediately after applying it, my skin felt calmer and less irritated, which is most likely due to the panthenol it contains.I would recommend Aquaphor to everyone.I would also use it on my nose or lips in winter.Urea Repair Plus: I have very chapped and flaky skin on my shins.With 10% urea, the cream is definitely very soothing for my legs.However, a less rich body lotion is sufficient for the rest of my body.

I discovered Eucerin Aquaphor Protect & Repair ointment by chance as a sample and was immediately impressed.In my opinion, the ointment is very well suited for both normal and irritated skin.The Aquaphor ointment stood out to me because of its thick, rich consistency.Due to the small package size, the ointment is primarily suitable as a hand cream.As someone with atopic dermatitis, I shouldn't actually use Aquaphor Protect & Repair during an active flare-up/inflammation, but: The Eucerin Aquaphor ointment is not only very soothing for my hands, but it also prevents or reduces weeping during a flare-up, provided I have pre-treated my hands (overnight) with prescription medication.Most other "protect" and/or "repair" creams don't achieve this.This property is mainly due to the fact that Eucerin Aquaphor Protect & Repair ointment doesn't need to be laboriously rubbed in, as it is transparent and can be easily applied in a thin layer.How I wish I had known about this ointment back in 2020 (before/during COVID-19).In short: Highly recommended for anyone who wants to protect their skin from external influences.
