As someone with atopic dermatitis, I'm always looking for effective solutions for my chronic and acute symptoms.I came across Eucerin AtopiControl Lotion (250/400 ml) while searching for a new basic skincare lotion.I consider the active ingredients, Omega-6 fatty acids and Licochalcone A, to be generally suitable and they have provided me with relief.The cream is very rich, but (for me) it caused more irritation than other creams on my unhealed (inflamed) skin/open atopic dermatitis sores on my hands.However, this isn't a problem as a basic skincare product in combination with prescription medication.The AtopiControl Lotion is viscous and somewhat difficult to dispense, but it is very economical.For this reason, I primarily use the AtopiControl Lotion on areas of my body (such as elbows and itchy spots) where I know rich care is needed.Due to its consistency, I don't think the AtopiControl Lotion is suitable as a daily full-body cream: not because of the price (the 400 ml size is just as expensive/cheap as other basic skincare products), but because applying it would take forever.In conclusion: The AtopiControl Lotion is a good addition to other basic skincare products for people with atopic dermatitis.
