Femibion for her & for him is a dietary supplement that helps couples^2,3prepare for conception from the moment they decide to have a baby. It offers a double pack with a tailored formulation for both partners and contains important nutrients that contribute to fertility², reproduction² , and the healthy development of the baby¹.

The tablet for her contains Folic Acid Plus¹, a combination of folic acid and L-methylfolate. L-methylfolate is a form of folate that can be used directly by the body and helps increase folate levels. Low maternal folate levels, even before conception, are one of the risk factors for the development of neural tube defects in the unborn child.¹ The neural tube closes as early as the fourth week of pregnancy, when pregnancy may not yet have been confirmed. Therefore, it is important that she takes folic acid before conception.

The formula also contains zinc², which contributes to normal fertility and reproduction² , as well as selenium and iodine.

The tablet for him is specially formulated to support sperm production² and normal reproduction² . ¹ Supplemental folic acid intake increases folate levels in pregnant women. Low folate levels in pregnant women are a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the developing fetus. Women are therefore recommended to take an additional 400 μg of folic acid daily for at least one month before and up to three months after conception. A neural tube defect is caused by multiple risk factors. Altering one risk factor may or may not have a positive effect.
