Field of use

Fenihydrocort is a multi -talent that can be used all year round in various skin irritation. The hydrocortisone -containing cream appears three times:

• relieves itching
• reduced swelling
• reduces redness

Fenihydrocort 0.5 % cream with the active ingredient hydrocortisone also contains nourishing dexpanthenol and dispenses with alcohol, fragrances and parabens. Suitable from the age of 6.

Mode of action

The active ingredient hydrocortisone promotes the production of anti -inflammatory messenger substances and at the same time inhibits the production of inflammatory -promoting messenger substances. In this way, inflammatory symptoms are alleviated.

Contradictions

Fenihydrocort cream 0.5 %, hydrocortisone 5 mg/g (pack size: 15 g) must not be used at:

• known hypersensitivity to one of the above -mentioned ingredients
• specific skin diseases (LUES, TBC)
• Virus infections (herpes simplex, herpes zoster, varicella and others)
• Vaccolition reactions
• Mycosis
• bacterial skin infections
• Acne vulgaris, steroid acne
• perioral dermatitis
• Rosacea
• Children under the age of 6 (only after a medical consultation)
• on a skin area larger 1/10 of the body surface

Special caution is required at:

• the application on the face
• Applicant to intertriginous areas
• in the area of Hautulzera
• in the genital and anal area
• Children and older people

An application during pregnancy and breastfeeding is contra -induced.

dosage

Application recommendation of Fenihydrocort cream 0.5 %, hydrocortisone 5 mg/g (pack size: 15 g):

Adults and children from the age of 6 should apply the cream thinly to the inflamed skin area 1-2 times a day at the beginning of treatment and easily rub it in. With improvement in the clinical picture, a one -time application per day is usually sufficient. A treatment on 2 weeks should not be exceeded and a large -scale application (more than 1/10 of the body surface) should be avoided.

• Special care in the application is required:
  • when using the face (especially in the area of the eyes; in the event of a assessment: risk of increasing the intraocular pressure) and when applying in body folds (intertriginous area), in the area of skin ulcers (ulcers), as well as the genital and anal area.
  • Particular caution is required in older people (old -age skin) as a result of a weakened barrier performance of the horny layer, or in children as a result of a larger body surface in relation to body weight. Do not apply to open wounds. Do not apply the cream to any larger area than 1/10 of the body surface.
  • Children

Pregnancy

• You may only apply the medicine after strict indication during pregnancy and lactation.
• During pregnancy, especially in the first three months of pregnancy, and during breastfeeding you should not use the medicine (more than 1/10 of the body surface) or in the long term (longer than four weeks). In the event of long -term use, growth disorders of the unborn child cannot be ruled out. In the case of treatment at the end of pregnancy, the fetus is at risk of reducing (atrophy) of the adrenal cortex.
• Glucocorticoids pass into breast milk. If the indication is mandatory, there should be quenched. During breastfeeding, do not apply the cream in the area of the chest to avoid undesirable oral admission from the infantthe. Newborns, whose mothers were treated long -term and/or large -scale with corticoids during pregnancy or lactation, should be increasingly observed for possible undesirable consequences.
• Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using all drugs.

Hints

Fenihydrocort cream 0.5 %, hydrocortisone 5 mg/g (pack size: 15 g) can be durated for 3 months after the dawn.
