Fortolino^® Cough Syrup
Medical device for dry and productive coughs

Fortolino^® Cough Syrup is a medical device based on natural plant extracts and glycerin, which promotes moisturizing and loosening of mucus. It also forms a mucoadhesive film with a barrier function, thus relieving coughs and protecting the upper respiratory tract. The mucilage and glycerin help protect the mucous membranes from irritation and also have a soothing and calming effect on sore throats. This is helpful for dry or productive coughs, including those associated with sore throats or upper respiratory tract infections. Thanks to its pleasant aromas and natural fruit flavor, this cough syrup is popular with the whole family.

Ingredients:
Ivy extract, ribwort plantain extract, Iceland moss extract, glycerin, purified water, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, sorbitol, xanthan gum, flavoring, citric acid, potassium sorbate

Dosage:
Children aged 2 to 5 years: 5 ml of cough syrup 2 to 3 times daily
Children aged 6 to 12 years: 10 ml of cough syrup 2 times daily
Adolescents and adults: 10 ml of cough syrup 3 times daily

The children's cough syrup is easy to dose thanks to the practical measuring cup and can be taken directly from the cup.

Fortolino^® Cough syrup for dry and productive coughs
Young children can catch a cold up to ten times a year.¹ Therefore, soothing cough remedies are important even for the youngest children. Fortolino^® Cough syrup can be used from the age of 2. The natural ingredients ivy, ribwort plantain, and Iceland moss extracts soothe cold symptoms. This cough syrup is helpful for both dry and productive coughs – even when accompanied by a sore throat or respiratory ailments. It soothes and protects irritated mucous membranes. We recommend using it in combination with Fortolino^® Cream.

Fortolino^® Cough Syrup is also suitable for older children and adults. From the age of 4, Bronchoforton^® Ointment can be used in combination. Please note: Fortolino^® Cough Syrup should not be used for more than 15 days as part of self-medication. If symptoms persist after a few (2–3) days of use, you should consult a doctor (or pediatrician).
