The medication has always helped me with nervous gastrointestinal problems. Always have it in your first aid kit, especially for “longer” trips like to Asia, to relax your stomach and not make you susceptible to “actual” germs. If you know yourself and react nervously to such situations, the medication can certainly help. However, I tend to take the tablets with me on vacation.
