Gelum ®drops
Active substance:
Potassium iron phosphate citrate complex.
Gelum drops contain a potassium-iron(III)-phosphate-citrate complex, which in the course of the intestinal passage Digestive toxin binds ammonia. In this way, the liver is relieved. This mechanism of action of the medical product Gelum drops is important in liver cirrhosis (chronic liver disease) with minimal hepatic encephalopathy.
Application areas:
Liver cirrhosis (chronic liver disease) with minimal hepatic encephalopathy (brain dysfunction caused by insufficient detoxification function of the liver).
Composition:
100 g contain 30.0 g of an aqueous solution of the potassium iron(III) phosphate citrate complex (KEPC), 3.0 g L(+)-lactic acid (dextrorotatory lactic acid), 0.1 g potassium sorbate.
Gelum drops do not contain alcohol.
