Grapefruit is a subtropical citrus fruit with bitter pulp, which was created as a cross between orange and pampel muse. Grapefruit is an evergreen citrus tree that can be over 10 meters high and is grown in almost all subtropical countries. Depending on the variety, the pulp can be light yellow, pink or ruby red. Grapefruit is used in the juice and beverage preparation. The essential oil is used in perfumerie, cosmetics and food aromatization.
