Field of use

• The medicine is a vegetable medicine for colds of the respiratory tract.
• The medicine is used in the case of colds of the respiratory tract, to improve complaints in chronic inflammatory bronchial diseases.
• In the event of long -lasting symptoms or when the breath, fever as well as in the case of purulent or bloody expectoration, a doctor should be consulted immediately.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken
  • if they are hypersensitive (allergic) against ivy leaves or one of the other components of the medicine;
  • in argininsuccinat synthase deficiency (metabolic disease of the urea cycle);
  • in infants and children under 2 years (risk of larynx fragrance);
  • in patients with bronchial asthma or other respiratory diseases that are associated with a pronounced hypersensitivity of the respiratory tract.
  • The inhalation of menthol, peppermint aroma and eucalyptus oil from the medicine can lead to shortness of breath or trigger a asthma attack.
  • Other preparations are available for infants and children up to 2 years.

dosage

• Always take the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
  • Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
    • for adults and children over 10 years:
      • 31 drops 3 times a day (corresponding to 300 mg drug per day);
    • for children from 4-10 years:
      • 21 drops 3 times a day (corresponding to 200 mg drug per day);
    • for children from 2-4 years:
      • 16 drops 3 times a day (corresponding to 150 mg drug per day);

 

• Duration of the application
  • Do not take the drug without medical advice for more than a few days.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount of the medicine than you should
  • If you have taken a larger amount of this medicine than you should, please notify your doctor. This may decide on the necessary measures. The side effects listed below may occur.

  • Next time, do not take the double dose, but continue taking it as prescribed by the doctor or described here.
