Field of use

Herpotherm Original (pack size: 1 pc) is a medical device for the local treatment of accompanying symptoms of lip herpes. HERPOTHERM® can prevent the formation of herpes bubbles when used in good time. If used later, a easier course or an earlier healing can be achieved. Herpotherm® can quickly and effectively create relief with itching, burning, tingling and feeling of tension.

Herpotherm® works exclusively through concentrated heat and therefore completely chemical -free.

Herpotherm Original (pack size: 1 pc) should only be used by one and the same person.
Herpotherm Original (package size: 1 pc) always disinfect with the disinfectant or another added in the packaging.

The use of herpotherm® is very simple:

• Take off the protective cap from the device.
• Place the device with the ceramic contact area on the affected skin area and press it easily.
• Use the print button. The ceramic contact area heats up to a temperature of approx. 51 ºC. As soon as this temperature is reached, an LED lights up. The LED expires after the device automatically switches off after the application duration of 3 seconds. At the beginning of the heating phase and at the end of the treatment, an acoustic signal also sounds.
• Place the protective cap on the device.

With persistent or recurring symptoms, repeated treatment of the same skin area is possible. Please holdn you get a treatment break of at least 2 minutes between the respective applications. A maximum number of 5 applications per hour (same skin area) must not be exceeded.

User notes
Herpotherm® is indicated for self -application by adults and children aged 12 and over. Children under the age of 12 should only be used with the support of an adult. Do not use the device in children under 3 years. Since the skin of children is more sensitive to pain than in adults, it should be pointed out before treatment that the heat generated by Herpotherm® could be perceived as uncomfortable for a short moment.

• well-known, increased algesia (increased sensation of pain) in small fibre neuropathy, allodynia, hyperalgesia
• Tumors and malignant changes in the skin
• People with well-known restricted pain and temperature sensitivity
• immediately after applying ointments, creams, lotions, etc. in relevant place
• damp skin.
