Field of use

• The medicine is a sleeping pills from the group of antihistamines.
• The medicine is used for short -term treatment of sleep disorders.

Composition of Hevert Dorm tablets (pack size: 20 pc):

1 tablet contains:
Active ingredient: diphenhydramine hydrochloride 25 mg

Other components: lactose monohydrate, povidon 25, microcrystalline cellulose, high-disperse silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate.

Contradictions

In the case of known hypersensitivity to one of the above -mentioned ingredients, this product should not be used. Please note the package insert!

dosage

Dosage recommendation of Hevert Dorm tablets (pack size: 20 pc):

Unless otherwise prescribed, the usual dose for adults is 2 tablets (corresponding to 50 mg diphenhydramin hydrochloride). This dose should not be exceeded. The tablets are clay, taken in the evening 30 minutes before going to bed with a lot of liquid (a glass of water). Then a sufficient sleeping time (7–8 hours) should be guaranteed.

Taking

• The tablets are taken in the evening 30 minutes before going to bed with some liquid (water).

Patient information

• Particular caution when taking the medicine is required,
  • if you suffer from one of the following diseases:
    • limited liver function,
    • chronic lung diseases or asthma,
    • certain gastric dysfunction (pylorus stenosis or achalasia of cardia)
  • After repeated sleeping pills over a longer period of time, there may be a loss of effectiveness (tolerance).
  • As with other sleeping pills, taking the medicine can lead to the development of physical and mental dependence. The risk of dependency increases with the dose and the duration of the treatment. This risk is also increased in patients with alcohol, drug or drug addiction in the history.
  • When ending treatment with the medicine, sleep disorders can temporarily reappear. It is therefore recommended to end the treatment by gradual reduction in the dose.
  • Children and adolescents
    • There is no sufficient experience in the effectiveness and tolerability of diphenhydramine as a sleeping pills in children and adolescents. Therefore, the drug in children and adolescents under the age of 18 should only be prescribed after careful consideration of risk and benefits.

 

• Wateriness and operating machines
  • After taking the medicine, no vehicles may be managed or dangerous machines may be operated. On the following day, too, residual fatigue and impaired reaction capacity can have a negative impact on the ability to drive or the ability to work with machines, especially after inadequate sleeping time.

Pregnancy

• Pregnancy and breast feeding period
  • Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking / using all drugs.
  • The medicine must not be taken during pregnancy and lactation.

Hints

This drug contains lactose. Please only take Hevert-Dorm after consultation with your doctor if you know that you suffer from a lactose intolerance.
