Inulin is a natural fiber from the chicorée root.
It is part of many known vegetable, fruit and grain types, e.g. articles, onions and asparagus.
It is a soluble fiber, is tasteless and easily combines with other ingredients.
It gives the dishes creaminess and improves the taste. Particularly good results are achieved in fermented dairy products (yoghurt, curd), low -fat spreads and baked goods (10 % of the flour must be replaced). In the event of excessive consumption, the so -called flatulence can occur due to the bacterial activity in the intestine, the formation and departure of intestinal gases.
