Field of use

• For the rapid stool emptying of the rectum z. B. before operations, diagnostic interventions such as X -ray examinations or colonoscopy and births.

Contradictions

• Do not use this product at:
  • Patients with restricted kidney function.
  • Difficult intestinal movements due to an obstruction or blockade.
  • Diseases in which the intestine is inflamed or swollen and that can lead to cramps, pain, constipation and diarrhea, e.g. B. in the Hirschsprung disease (Hirschsprung's disease).
  • Violation of the anal region, z. B. by a intestinal perforation or a fissure.
  • Postoperative inability to move the stool through the intestine.
  • All diseases that are likely that increasingly electrolytes (salts in the blood), such as: B. sodium or phosphate are absorbed from the intestine.
• This preparation is not suitable for infants and children under the age of 6.

dosage

• Unless otherwise prescribed:
  • In general, the consumption of a bottle for the adult.

 

• Duration of the application:
  • The drug is not intended for permanent use. However, distances can be used repeatedly in irregular intervals if necessary.

Taking

• As an enema in the intestine.
• If possible, the patient should not give in to his urge to empty for 15-20 minutes so that sustainable emptying of the rectum is guaranteed. If early emptying is made, repeated use is safe.

• Caution:
  • Only use with caution in older and weakened or frail patients as well as in patients with existing electrolyte disorders.
  • Only for one -time use. The reuse or reprocessing of medical devices for one -time use can lead to contamination.
  • Throw away plastic containers after use, even if the entire content has not been used. Use only clear solutions in intact containers.

Pregnancy

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, you should only take medication after consultation with your doctor or pharmacist!

Miscellaneous

- The drug can be colored slightly yellow. This discoloration does not affect the effectiveness of the product.
- Throw away the plastic container after use, even if the entire content was not used.
