Note: Very high doses, such as those taken in cases of poisoning, may in isolated cases lead to constipation and intestinal obstruction (mechanical ileus), which can be prevented by administering saline laxatives (e.g., sodium sulfate). Since medical charcoal is excreted unchanged, taking "Kohle Hevert" tablets causes a blackened stool.

Interactions
Kohle Hevert" tablets should not be taken directly with other medications, as their effectiveness may be reduced.
