Laxoberal^® Laxative Drops

Active ingredient: Sodium picosulfate.
Indications: For use in cases of constipation and conditions requiring easier bowel movements. Warning: Like other laxatives, Laxoberal^® should not be taken daily or for extended periods without medical diagnosis of the cause of constipation. Contains sorbitol (laxative drops), contains lactose (laxative tablets). Pharmacy only.

Laxoberal^® Laxative drops, 100ml (2x50ml), with sodium picosulfate, gentle laxative

Constipation is usually very unpleasant for those affected. In addition, the abdomen is often bloated and painful. This is not only physically stressful, but can also reduce quality of life. But when is constipation considered normal? Anything between three times a day and three times a week is considered normal. If you have less frequent bowel movements, the stool is very hard, or you have to strain hard, you may be constipated. The muscles of the colon that move the stool along then work more slowly. The dry, hard stool exacerbates the problem.

Laxoberal^® Laxative Drops help you relieve constipation in a well-tolerated and effective manner. Their effect begins after approximately 10 to 12 hours. They work precisely where the constipation is located: in the large intestine. Metabolic processes in other areas of the gastrointestinal tract are not affected by the active ingredient sodium picosulfate. Laxoberal Laxative Drops are activated by the body's own colon bacteria and thus exert their effect precisely in the lower intestinal sections. They support the sluggish bowel in two ways: they activate natural bowel movement and soften the intestinal contents – for well-tolerated and reliable relief. In addition, more water remains in the intestine, which further supports bowel movements.

Laxoberal^® Laxative Drops have been used as a remedy for constipation since 1972. They appeal to users not least because of their very flexible dosage. You can adjust the number of drops depending on the severity of your symptoms. For adults, a dosage of 10 to 18 drops is recommended. It is advisable to start with the lowest dose initially.

If necessary, Laxoberal^® Laxative Drops are also suitable for long-term use. However, this should be discussed with a doctor beforehand. Since you can adjust the dosage of the drops to your personal needs>sup>2, the drops are gentle and well-tolerated. The active ingredient sodium picosulfate in the drops is also suitable for use during breastfeeding. Children 4 years and older can also take Laxoberal^® Laxative Drops, provided the dosage adjusted for them is observed.

The drops work very well and are very well tolerated in my case.If taken in the evening, they usually take effect the following morning; this should be taken into account.
