Macrogol ADGC^® Junior for Constipation

MACROGOL ADGC Junior from 6 months to 8 years, 4 g powder for oral solution in a sachet

Active ingredients:
Macrogol 4000

Indications:
Symptomatic treatment of constipation in children aged 6 months to 8 years. Before starting treatment, an organic disorder must be ruled out by a physician, especially in children under 2 years of age. Treatment of constipation with Macrogol ADGC Junior from 6 months to 8 years of age should only be temporary and supportive of a healthy lifestyle and diet. The maximum duration of treatment should be 3 months. If symptoms persist despite a healthy lifestyle and diet, an underlying cause should be suspected and treated.

Macrogol ADGC Junior^® contains the active ingredient macrogol and is a gentle laxative for children aged 6 months to 8 years. The individually removable sachets contain a powder that is mixed with water to form a solution and has a pleasant orange flavor. Macrogol works by increasing the water content in the stool directly in the intestine, thus facilitating excretion. The effect occurs within 24 to 48 hours after ingestion. Macrogol ADGC Junior^® is well tolerated and passes through the intestine without being absorbed by the body—there is no habituation effect.
