Methionin STADA^® 500 mg film -coated tablets

Active ingredient: methionine. For urinary acidification with the therapeutic

Goal: Optimization of the effect of antibiotics with an efficiency in the acid urine (pH 4-6): e.g. ampicillin, carbenicillin, nalidixic acid, nitrofuran. Avoidance of new stone formation in phosphate stones (struvit, carbonateatapit, brush). Inhibition of bacterial growth.

Very effective for cystitis prophylaxis... Anyone who, like me, has gone through hell with this is incredibly grateful for this urinary acidifier. A daily glass of 100% cranberry juice, warm feet, and plenty of fluids are all it takes for effective prevention. A thousand thanks for methionine
