Field of use

Mometason - 1 A Pharma For hay fever, contains the active ingredient mometaonafuroat, a fabric from the group of so -called corticosteroids. If Mometasonfuroat is sprayed into the nose, this can help relieve inflammation (swelling and irritation of the nose).

Mometason 1a phar.b.huschnupffe 50[my]g/Spr.stoss (pack size: 18 g) is used to treat the symptoms of a hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) in adults, provided that the initial diagnosis of the hay fever is carried out by a doctor is.

Active ingredient: mometasonfuroat (Ph.Eur.).
Each measured spray releases 50 micrograms of mometaononefuroat (as mometaon-17- (2-furoat) 1 H2O).
The total weight of a spray is 100 mg.

Other components are:
Microcrystalline Cellulose, Carmellose-Natrium (Ph.Eur.), Glycerol, Citronensa Monohydrate, Sodium Citrat (Ph.EUR.), Polysorbate 80 [pflanzlich], benzalkonium chloride, water for injection purposes.

Contradictions

In the case of known hypersensitivity to one of the above -mentioned ingredients, this product should not be used.
Do not apply if you recently had an operation on your nose or you injured your nose.
You must not start using the nasal spray before your nose has healed.

dosage

Application recommendation of Mometason 1a phar.b.huschnupffen 50[my]g/Spr.stoss (pack size: 18 g):

The recommended dose is 2 sprays in each nose opening once a day. As soon as your symptoms are under control, you can reduce the number of sprays to 1 times a day 1 spray in each nasal opening.
If your symptoms deteriorate, increase the dose to every nose opening to each nose to 1 times a day.

To shake the bottle well before the first application and to press the dosing pump 10 times (until an even spray is given). If the dosing pump is not pressed for more than 14 days, a re-filling is required again by 2 times pumps before the next application.

Are not used in children and adolescents under the age of 18.

Take advantage of medical advice if no or inadequate improvement in your symptoms occurs after 14 days at the latest. Mometason - 1 A Pharma In the case of hay fever, no medical advice should not be used for more than 3 months.

Taking

• Preparation of your nasal spray for application
  • Your nasal spray has a protective cap that protects the nose piece and keeps it clean. Remember to remove it before using the spray and then set it up again.
  • Shake the bottle before each application.
  • Do not pierce the nose applicator (nozzle opening) with a needle or other pointed object.
• How to use the nasal spray
  • Shake the bottle well and remove the protective cap
  • Carefully roll your nose to clean your nostrils.
  • Close a nose opening and lead the piece of nose to the other nose opening. Tend your head slightly forward and keep the bottle upright.
  • Start slightly breathing through your nose and inhale while you inhale, spray a spray of fine sprays into your nose by pressing down with your fingers.
  • Breathe out through your mouth. If necessary, repeat the last step to give a second spray in the same nose opening.
  • Take the nose piece out of this nasal opening and breathe out through your mouth.
  • Repeat the previous steps for the other nose opening.
  • After use, carefully clean the nose piece with a clean handkerchief and put the protective cap again.
• Cleaning your nasal spray
  • It is important to clean the nasal spray regularly, otherwise it may not work perfectly.
  • Do not try to expand the outlet opening of the nose piece with a needle or another sharp object, because this damages the nose piece and you do not get the right dose of the drug.

  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using this preparation when you
    • Have tuberculosis or ever have

  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist while using this preparation if

  • If corticosteroid nasal sprays are used in high doses over long periods of time, side effects can occur due to the drugs absorbed into the body.

  • The drug must not be used in children and adolescents under the age of 18.

 

• Wateriness and ability to operate machines
  • No information is known about the influence of the drug on the ability to drive or operate machines.

Pregnancy

• Pregnancy
  • There is only a few or no information on the use of mometaonone furoat in pregnant women.
• Breastfeeding
  • It is not known whether Mometasonfuroat gets into breast milk.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeed, or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this drug.

Hints

This medicine contains 0.02 mg benzalkonium chloride per spray corresponding to 0.2 mg/g. Benzalkonium chloride can cause irritation or swelling of the nasal mucosa, especially when used for longer.

Keep this drug for children inaccessible.
