Instructions for Use

The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

How to use?
Spray the medication into each nostril.Breathe gently through your nose while spraying.Beforehand, clear your nose by blowing it vigorously.Shake well before use.Before the first use, pump several times until a fine mist is produced.To avoid infection, the medication should only be used by one patient.

Duration of use?
The duration of use depends on the type of symptoms and/or the course of the illness.It should therefore be determined in consultation with your doctor.

Overdose?
An overdose can lead to, among other things, increased susceptibility to infection or adrenal gland disorders.If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor immediately.

Forgot to use it?
Continue using the medication as prescribed at the next scheduled time (do not double the dose).

How does the active ingredient in the medicine work?

The active ingredient is related to cortisone.Cortisone is a hormone that is also produced naturally by the body.
The active ingredient is primarily used to reduce chronic inflammatory reactions in the body, such as those affecting the respiratory tract or the digestive system.It inhibits the body's own processes that perpetuate inflammation.In chronic diseases, inflammation can become self-sustaining and, through swelling of the affected skin or mucous membranes, lead to far-reaching symptoms.
The substance works optimally only when used regularly. The active ingredient inhibits the body's own processes that promote inflammation.

Mometasone STADA^® for hay fever 50 micrograms/spray Nasal spray, suspension
For adults only

Active ingredient:
Mometasone furoate

For use in adults to treat the symptoms of hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis), provided that the initial diagnosis of hay fever has been made by a doctor.If you do not feel better or feel worse after 14 days, contact your doctor.

Note:
Contains benzalkonium chloride.

Mometasone STADA^® works precisely where symptoms occur.Thanks to its anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory effect, it provides reliable relief from typical allergy symptoms.In addition, the active ingredient soothes the irritated nasal mucosa and the eyes¹.Good tolerability is ensured, as the product neither causes drowsiness nor is addictive.Mometasone STADA^® can be used once daily by adults throughout the entire allergy season (up to 3 months).

INHALTSSTOFFE

The active ingredient is: Mometasone furoate (Ph. Eur.).Each spray (0.1 ml) of the pump delivers a measured dose of 50 micrograms of mometasone furoate (Ph. Eur.) (as mometasone-17-(2-furoate) 1 H2O).The total weight of one spray is 100 mg.

The other ingredients are: Microcrystalline cellulose and carmellose sodium (8.3–13.8%), glycerol, sodium citrate (Ph. Eur.), citric acid monohydrate, polysorbate 80 [pflanzlich], benzalkonium chloride (see section 2) and water for injections.

ANWENDUNGSEMPFEHLUNG

The recommended dose is two sprays into each nostril once daily.
In some patients, Mometasone STADA^® starts to relieve symptoms within 12 hours of the first dose.
However, the full benefit of the treatment may not be seen in the first two days.Therefore, you should continue regular treatment to get the full benefit from the treatment.

Mometasone STADA^® for hay fever 50 micrograms/spray nasal spray, suspension is a nasal spray in the form of a milky white suspension.
Each bottle contains 60 or 140 sprays.
1 Bottle with 10 g suspension corresponding to 60 sprays.
1 Bottle with 18 g suspension corresponding to 140 sprays.
Multipack: 2 bottles each containing 18 g suspension corresponding to 140 sprays (280 sprays in total).
Multipack: 3 bottles each containing 18 g suspension corresponding to 140 sprays (420 sprays in total).

Does mometasone STADA^® impair the ability to drive or operate machinery?
