The inhalation of hypertonic salt solution for inhalation is a widespread and accepted therapy to increase secretion mobilization in the lower airways. The mucus can be loosened by osmotic effects of salt -containing droplets on the airways mucosa and as a result. This can be given to patients with acute bronchiolitis or cystic fibrosis.

Mucoclear 3% is applicable with compressor -powered nozzle interference (e.g. all pari inhalation devices), ultrasound devices or membrane venues such as the EFLOWRAPID.
