Mode of action
How does the ingredient of the medicine work?The active ingredient damages the outer shell, the so -called cell membrane of mushrooms. This case thus loses part of its functions, for example, it becomes more impermeable to nutrients - the cell is starving, or cell components emerge and the cell dissolves. Depending on the active ingredient concentration, the mushrooms are inhibited in their growth and multiplication or deployed directly. The active ingredient is also effective against certain bacteria.

20 mg Sertaconazole Nitrate
17.48 mg Sertaconazole
150 mg glycerin formal
+ Ethanol 96% (v/v)
+ Propylene glycol

What speaks against an application?- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients
- Pregnancy
What about pregnancy and lactation?
- Pregnancy: There is no findings on this. If in doubt, get advice from your doctor or pharmacist.
- Breastfeeding: The medicine should not be applied to the chest.
If the medicine has been prescribed to you despite a counter -notification, speak to your doctor or pharmacist. The therapeutic benefit can be higher than the risk of using the application.
Side effects
What adverse effects may occur?- Super sensitivity reactions of the skin, such as:
- Reddening of skin
- Burn on the skin
- Itching
- Drying out the skin
- Contact dermatitis (allergic skin reactions that only occur when used repeated)
If you notice a disorder or change during treatment, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
For information at this point, side effects are taken into account that occurs in at least one of 1,000 patients treated.
Hints
What should you consider?- Be careful with allergy against mushrooms (e.g. clotrimazole)!
- Solvent (e.g. propylene glycol, E 477) can cause skin irritation.
