Application notes
Type of application?
Mushroom infections in the oral cavity: Drip the medicine on the oral mucosa. Spread the medicine there for a few minutes and then swallow it down. It is also advisable to brush the affected areas with a cotton swab that was previously dipped into the medicine.
Functional infections in the gastrointestinal area: take the medicine.
Shake well before use.
Duration of the application?
The duration of use depends on the type of complaints and/or the course of the disease. Ask this in doubt, your doctor or pharmacist. The duration of use should be at least 2 weeks. The duration of use should be continued for a few days even after freedom from symptoms.
Overdose?
There are no known overdose symptoms. If in doubt, contact your doctor.
Forgot to take it?
Continue the intake as normal at the next prescribed time (not with the double quantity).
In general, pay attention to a conscientious dosage especially in infants, toddlers and older people. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any effects or precautionary measures.

How does the ingredient of the medicine work?The active ingredient damages the outer shell, the so -called cell membrane of mushrooms. This case thus loses part of its functions, cell components emerge and the cell can dissolve. Depending on the active ingredient concentration, the mushrooms are inhibited in their growth and multiplication or deployed directly.

Hints
What should you consider?- Be careful with allergy against mushrooms (e.g. amphotericin B, Nystatin)!
- Parabens (preservatives e.g. E 214 - E 219) can cause hypersensitivity reactions, even with a time delay.
- Beware of an intolerance to sucrose. If you have to adhere to a diabetes diet, you should take the sugar content into account.
- Beware of allergy to peanuts and soy.

Field of use
- The preparation is a remedy for yeast mushroom diseases in the mouth and gastrointestinal area.
- Application areas:
- Infections by nystatin-sensitive yeast mushrooms (e.g. Candida Albicans) in the mouth (oral thrust) and gastrointestinal area.

Contradictions
- The medicine must not be used/taken

- 0.5- 1 ml suspension 4 to 6 times a day

- Duration of the application
- In the case of oral thrust, treatment is to be continued for 2 to 3 days beyond the disappearance of the visible symptoms. In the case of yeast infections of the gastrointestinal tract, the treatment should generally be carried out for 2 weeks or a few more days after complete healing. If the symptoms are stopped, the doctor must be consulted.
- If you have taken a larger amount than you should
- Gastrointestinal disorders such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhea can occur. A special antidote is not known. In cases of acute overdose, you should stop the medicine immediately and visit your doctor.
- If you have forgotten the application/intake
- Do not apply twice the amount if you have forgotten the prior application/intake.
- If you cancel the application/intake
- Successful therapy is no longer guaranteed when the treatment is terminated prematurely.

Taking
- For use in the oral cavity and to take.
- Shake well before each use. Then use the pipette to remove the suspension to the desired marking and put it in the mouth drop. If possible, the pipette should not come into contact with the diseased areas. After use, the pipette is screwed onto the bottle.
- Oral
- The treatment should take place after meals. Soor coverings (white spots) should be wiped off with a cotton swab before they are dabbed with the suspension. Then the suspension is dripped into the mouth with the pipette. The suspension should be kept in the mouth for as long as possible before it is swallowed.

- Take the suspension before meals.

- Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using/taking the suspension.
- During the treatment, regular oral hygiene must be paid to.
- Children
- Due to the high osmolarity of Nystatin, an application for very underweight and immature premature babies is advised.
- Wateriness and ability to operate machines
- This preparation has no or a negligible influence on the traffic and the ability to use machines.
Pregnancy
- If you are pregnant or breastfeed, or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using/taking this medicine.
- Nystatin, the active ingredient, is hardly absorbed in therapeutic dose after oral gift, over the intact skin or over the mucous membranes. The placenta barrier does not happen, and a transfer to breast milk is also not to be expected.
- The suspension can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
- There is no data to influence reproductive ability.
Hints
Miscellaneous
Nystatin preparations for taking are not suitable for the treatment of fungal attack on the entire body.
- If there is no healing success, the treatment must be checked by the doctor.
- When treating fungal infections, all mushroom stoves on the skin and the mucous membranes must be treated in order to avoid relapses that arise from untreated mushroom herds.
