Field of use

The active ingredient pair of xylometazoline and dexpanthenol quickly frees the nose and promotes the healing of the damaged nasal mucosa.

In a runny nose, the difficult nasal breathing is not the only one that torments us: often the nose is also sore, irritated and hurts. nasic® nasal spray combats the runny nose symptoms with the active ingredient combination of xylometazoline and dexpanthenol. It causes the nasal mucosa to swell so that you can breathe freely through your nose again. At the same time, it maintains the nose and promotes the healing of the mucous membranes.

The nasic® nasal spray is suitable for adults and children from 6 years.

Mode of action

Xylometazoline narrows the vessels of the mucous membrane and can thus ensure a repulse. Dexpanthenol maintains and supports the healing of the nasal mucosa, which is affected by sneakers and drying out. In nasic® nasal spray, the active ingredients complement each other and are stronger than alone - so you can get rid of your runny nose faster!

Contradictions

In the case of known hypersensitivity to one of the above -mentioned ingredients, with dry inflammation of the nasal mucosa with bark formation and in children under 6 years Nasic nasal spray (pack size: 10 ml) should not be used. When taking mood-enhancing drugs or other potentially blood pressure-enhancing medicines, increased intraocular pressure, severe cardiovascular diseases, a hormone -producing tumor of the adrenalmark and metabolic disorders must be consulted before using Nasic nasal spray (pack size: 10 ml).

dosage

Pump vigorously several times when using the spray bottle for the first time until a fine spray is created. Clean your nose before using Nasic nasal spray (pack size: 10 ml) by sniffing hard. Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and school children spray up to 3 times a day 1 spray Nasic nasal spray (pack size: 10 ml) into each nose opening. Breathe in the nose slightly during the spray process. Wipe the nose tube carefully after use to avoid a virus accumulation.

The medicine is intended for nasal application.

Patient information

Special caution in the application is required- if they are treated with monoaminoxidase inhibitors (MAO inhibitors) and other potentially blood pressure-enhancing medicines- with increased intraocular pressure, especially green star (narrow-angle glaucoma),- in patients with severe cardiovascular diseases ( e.g. coronary heart disease) and high blood pressure (hypertension),- in patients with tumor of the adrenal gland (phäochromocytom),- for metabolic disorders, such as overactive thyroid (hyperthyroidism) and diabetes (diabetes),- in metabolic disease porphyria,- in prostate highlight ).
Long -term application and overdose, especially in children, must be avoided. The application for higher doses may only be carried out under medical control. The preparation contains an active ingredient concentration that is intended for adults and school children and is therefore not suitable for infants and toddlers under the age of 6. For this purpose, nasal sprays with a lower active ingredient content are available. Transport and operating machine use of intended use are not to be expected.
This medicinal product does not require special storage conditions.

Pregnancy

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking / using all drugs. An application during breastfeeding should be omitted, since it is not known whether the active ingredient xylometazolin hydrochloride is transferred to breast milk.

Hints

Nasic nasal spray (pack size: 10 ml) should be used over a period of 7 days.

For hygienic reasons and to avoid virus transmission, a drip bottle should only be used by one and the same person.

Miscellaneous

With longer application or higher dosage of nasic , effects on cardiovascular functions or the nervous system cannot be ruled out. In these cases, the ability to carry a motor vehicle and to operate machines can be impaired.
