Field of use

For yeast piling infections in the mouth and in the gastrointestinal tract, especially after or during therapy with cytostatics, corticosteroids or antibiotics.

Notice:

Nystatin is practically not absorbed with oral use. That is why NYSTADERM (pack size: 100 pc) are used exclusively to renovate the gastrointestinal duct in yeast mushroom infections (Candida Albicans and related yeast types).

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be used
  • if you are allergic to Nystatin or a related active ingredient (amphotericin B, Natamycin) or one of the other components of this medicine.
  • to treat systemic (the internal organs) fungal infections

dosage

Take in 1 NYSTADERM (pack size: 100 pc) 3 times a day. The dose may be increased. The duration of the use of NYSTADERM (pack size: 100 pc) is 2 weeks or as long as the treatment with medication that promotes yeast funding continues. If necessary, the treatment duration can be extended. The intake of NYSTADERM (pack size: 100 pc) takes place after meals with a little liquid.

Notice:

When treating fungal diseases with NYSTADERM (pack size: 100 pc) , all foci of infection must be fully removed in order to avoid renewed infections. An apparent therapy resistance can usually be overcome by more frequent use and higher doses. Continue taking NYSTADerm (pack size: 100 pc) after the disease symptoms have subsided at least 2 days.

Taking

• Take the medicine with a little liquid after meals.

  • Children
    • Due to the high osmolarity of nystatin, the application is advised against very underweight and immature premature babies.

 

• Wateriness and operating machines:
  • There is no experience with regard to the impairment of traffic and the ability to use machines.

Pregnancy

• If you are pregnant or breastfeed, or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this drug.
• Nystatin, the active ingredient in this preparation, is hardly absorbed in therapeutic dose after oral gift over the intact skin or over the mucous membranes. The placenta barrier does not happen, and a transfer to breast milk is also not to be expected.
• The film -coated tablets can be used during pregnancy and lactation.

Miscellaneous

- If the diseased areas trigger unpleasant stimuli or change something there, end taking the medication and immediately interview the doctor
- When treating fungal infections, all mushroom stoves on the skin and the mucous membranes must be removed in order to avoid relapses that arise from untreated mushroom herds.
