This design star has an illuminated display and a USB interface that enables data to be transferred to the free OMRON Online Health Management Bi-LINK. With it, blood pressure data can be easily managed, tracked and downloaded. Bi-LINK is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8. A specially stored algorithm also enables precise measurement results for pregnant women. Regular blood pressure measurements at home can help to identify risks of heart attacks and strokes at an early stage. OMRON blood pressure monitors detect irregular heartbeats. All of our blood pressure monitors feature OMRON's proprietary Intellisense™ technology for a quick and smooth reading without over-inflating the cuff. The device has an M cuff (22-32 cm) and detects body movements during the measurement. High blood pressure is indicated by a symbol. It offers 90 memory locations and calculates the average of 3 consecutive measurements within 10 minutes. The device has been awarded the test seal of the German Hypertension League for measurement accuracy and has been clinically validated. OMRON is one of the few manufacturers to have additional validation studies carried out voluntarily by independent international organizations.
