Instructions for Use
How should it be used?
Swallow the medicine whole with liquid (e.g., 1 glass of water). The medicine should not be chewed or crushed.
Duration of Use?
To improve symptoms, taking the tablets for 2-3 consecutive days may be necessary. Once complete relief of symptoms has been achieved, you should discontinue treatment. Treatment should not be continued for longer than 4 weeks without medical advice. If no relief of symptoms has occurred after 2 weeks of continuous treatment, please consult your doctor.
Overdose?
If the medicine is used as directed, no symptoms of overdose are known. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
Forgot to take a dose?
Continue taking the medication as usual at the next prescribed time (i.e., do not take a double dose).
In general, pay particular attention to the dosage, especially for infants, small children, and the elderly. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any side effects or precautions.
The dosage prescribed by a doctor may differ from the information in the package leaflet. Since the doctor adjusts the dosage individually, you should therefore use the medication according to his or her instructions.

How does the active ingredient in the medicine work?The active ingredient inhibits the secretion of gastric acid from the so-called parietal cells of the gastric mucosa. It blocks a specific site that is responsible for the release of gastric acid via a pumping mechanism.

- Impaired liver function
- Jaundice
- History of gastrointestinal surgery
- Vitamin B12 deficiency, including any history

- Children and adolescents under 18 years of age: This medicine should not be used.
- Adults aged 55 and over: This medicine should be used with particular caution.
What about pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Pregnancy: According to current knowledge, this medicine should not be used.
- Breastfeeding: Based on current knowledge, use is not recommended. Discontinuation of breastfeeding may be considered.
