Dex‐panthenol is often used for irritated skin due to its soothing effect. It is converted in the human body into vitamin B5, an important vitamin for the body that supports the regeneration of skin cells and thus contributes to skin regeneration. Penaten uses a high proportion of 4.3% dex‐panthenol in the PENATEN SOS CREME.
