Field of use

• The medicine is a solution for use in the oral cavity for the treatment of painful, inflammatory conditions of the oral mucosa and gums.
• It is used
  • for temporary treatment of painful, inflammatory states of the oral mucosa, especially aphthes.
  • to the temporary, supportive, symptomatic treatment of gum infections (gingivitis).

50 mg rhubarb dry extract, (1: 0.15)
4 mg Rhine
10 mg salicylic acid
Ethanol 96% (v/v) Hedge substance (+)

Contradictions

• The preparation must not be used
  • if they are hypersensitive (allergic) compared to the active ingredients or one of the other components.
  • if you suffer from alcohol addiction.
• Do not apply to children under the age of 12, since there is a connection between internally acting salicylates and reye syndrome in children. Reye syndrome is a very rare disease that damages the brain and the liver and can be fatal. No confirmed cases of Reye syndrome in connection with externally acting salicylates were reported.

dosage

• Always apply the medicine exactly according to your dentist. Please ask your dentist or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Adults (including older people) and children from 12 years and older: Unless otherwise prescribed, the solution is applied three times a day after eating and brushing your teeth on the mucosal areas to be treated. Then the mouth should not be rinsed out for at least 15 minutes.
• The solution must not be used in children under the age of 12.

 

• Do not apply the drug without medical advice for more than 14 days. Do not eat or drink anything right after application.
• The treatment is provided for a limited period of time, in which the inflammation in the mouth usually subsides. If the symptoms continue to exist after 14 days, please contact your dentist.
• Please speak to your dentist or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have used a larger amount than you should
  • You can remove the medicine with water by rinsing the mouth.
  • Salicylates can have a harmful effect when the specified use of application.

 

• If you have forgotten the application
  • Do not apply the double dose if you have forgotten the previous application; Continue the treatment.

Taking

• For use on the oral mucosa and gums.
• After eating and brushing your teeth, apply the mucosal areas to be treated.
• Then the mouth should not be rinsed out for at least 15 minutes.

Patient information

• Special care in the application is required
  • Do not exceed the specified frequency of application. Salicylates can be harmful when the specified frequency of application is exceeded.
  • Discoloration of the teeth, denture and dentures
  • This medicine contains alcohol.

 

• Wateriness and operating machines
  • The preparation has no influence on the ability to drive and the Ability to use machines.

Pregnancy

• Since the security of the drug is not proven during pregnancy and lactation, you must not use the preparation unless your doctor considers this to be clear. If this is the case, the drug is only used in small area.
