Breathe more easily with the RC cornet
Diseases of the lower airways usually go hand in hand with a narrowing of the bronchi. Affected complaints about stubborn secretion formation, have problems coughing on bronchial mucus, shortness of breath and cough. The RC cornet treats these symptoms in a physical way. In addition to drug therapy, breathing physiotherapy with the so -called basic cornet is a central component in the treatment of chronic diseases of the lower respiratory tract such as COPD and cystic fibrosis.

The RC cornet belongs to the group of oscillating PEP devices (Opep): When exhaling into the mouthpiece, a positive pressure (PEP) is created, which massages the mucous membranes. As a result, the bronchi are expanded and the secretion in the lungs is dissolved, liquefied and removed. Regular training is crucial for the success of breathing therapy.

Flexible application and easy cleaning
The respiratory therapy device effectively frees from stuck bronchial mucus, reduces shortness of breath and cough and should be used between three and five minutes two to three times a day. It can be used in any body position, and breathing physiotherapy while lying down is also possible. Cleaning is very simple: the basic cornet can be boiled out and cleaned in the vaporizer or with the RC Clean cleaning bag in the microwave. In the clinic it can be prepared with steam sterilization up to 134 ° C (autoclaving).

A device - different treatment options
The basic cornet offers two treatment options via various settings on the mouthpiece:
1. Wide the narrowed respiratory tract and train bronchial muscles
The breathing physiotherapy device works against narrowed bronchi and inflammation of the lower airways. Due to changing pressure with attached pressure fluctuations, even the smallest, clogged airways up to the lung bubbles are reached. Accessories for the extended application
The basic cornet can be expanded with accessories as required: Combined with an RC cornet adapter with mouthpiece (T-piece), breathing therapy can be supplemented by inhalation therapy using noisy. This improves the medication position and the entire therapy duration is reduced.
