Sevimega 3® capsules
Dietary supplement with omega-3 fatty acids
Marine omega-3 concentrate with omega-3 fatty acids and natural
vitamin E.
Omega-3 fatty acids are highly unsaturated fatty acids. They are essential and must be supplied with food. Omega-3 fatty acids are found in particularly high concentrations in oily sea fish and molluscs. The concentration in marine oils is correspondingly high. The most important omega-3 fatty acids are EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid).
Sevimega-3®fish oil capsules are manufactured in Germany. The crude fish oil is processed into valuable marine omega-3 concentrates by one of Norway's leading fish oil suppliers.
The fishing areas, mainly in Peru, are still among the cleanest in the world. The species of fish used is the Peruvian anchovy (Engraulis ringens). This gives our fish oil supplier direct access to secured quantities of crude oil of the highest and consistent quality, which is guaranteed by strict controls. The complete fish crude oil from the anchovy is obtained from 100% sustainable fishing and is certified by the independent organization Friend of the Sea (FOS).
All fish oil concentrates from our supplier are unique because they go through a special, additional purification process. This patented purification step is designed to reduce organic contaminants such as dioxin, PCB's and pesticides to an absolute minimum. EPAX has the lowest concentrations of these environmental toxins (far below the allowable limits set in the EU).
