Contradictions

If the ingredients mentioned above, the product should not be used in the case of hypersensitivity to one of the above. The medicine should not be taken during pregnancy and lactation as well as children under 2 years. This medicine should not be used together with other medication that can trigger cardiac arrhythmias by changing the excitation line (e.g. erythromycin, Clarithromycin, Sotalol, Terfenadin, Amiodarone, Moxifloxacin, other antibiotics of the quinolon group).

Silomat® against stimulating cough pentoxyverin juice should only be used when coughing is dry without mucus. Adults take 15-20 milliliters of the juice several times a day. In children, the dosage takes place according to weight, according to the enclosed table.   • if the cough is accompanied by a pronounced mucus formation or you suffer from asthmatic cough because under these circumstances a suppression of coughing is undesirable. In this case, only take the medicine after consulting your doctor.
  • In patients with functional disorders of the kidneys (renal failure) and in older patients, since there are no sufficient data for these patient groups.
  • If you suffer from increased intraocular pressure (glaucoma) or benign enlargement of the prostate (prostate hyperplasia).
  • If the cough continues for more than 2 weeks, your treating doctor is precisely clarified by your treating doctor.
• Children
  • The medicine must not be used in children in the first two years of life.
